*A Matter of Time*, an intimate short documentary executive produced by David A. Smith and directed by Brendan Brandt, has been selected for AARP's Movies for Grownups program as part of its upcoming Short Film Night.

Movies for Grownups celebrates films that resonate with audiences over 50, championing meaningful stories about the experiences, struggles and triumphs of older adults.

### About the film

*A Matter of Time* follows two seniors facing one of life's most consequential decisions: whether to stay in the homes they love or move to a senior living community better suited to their changing needs.

At 94, Burney refuses to leave his home voluntarily. At 81, Sandy struggles with isolation. As both confront difficult choices about the future, their stories invites each of us to consider how we want to live, where we want to live and what we're willing to leave behind.

Through their journeys, the film explores independence, identity, resilience and the universal challenge of growing older.
